Yvette
has 16 years of training in ballet, jazz, modern,
tap dance and in the art of Flamenco. Along with
earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from
San Francisco State University in the fall of 2000,
she also studied with Limon Dance Company in New
York City, danced for A night at the Opera Performance
Group, in southern California and with EMBAJE Dance
Company in San Francisco. In 2001, she toured the
Hawaiian Islands with David Ward’s New Dance
Project, FOURPLAY and guest danced for David Ward
in his remounting of Swing Low Suite in Seabury
Hall’s Showcase 2002 and for Andre Morissette
in 2003 in his premier of Extreme Supremes. She
is presently dancing for Maui’s Koablue Dance
Theater, as a company member, performing new repertory
at various venues on Maui. |
