Danyell’s
interest and devotion to health and fitness early
on expanded her knowledge of the teachings of yoga
from the East and the discipline of Pilates from
the West. She has been practicing and studying yoga
for 15 years and Pilates for over 10 years. These
disciplines, as well as dance, aerobics, weight-training,
core training, and nutrition helped her to recognize
her passion to share the journey of wellness. Danyell
has been an ACE certified personal fitness trainer
and group instructor for 4 years, with additional
certifications and workshops in: Pilates, Aqua Yoga,
Sport Yoga, PiYo, Nia, and Nutrition. She graduated
with honors from the University of Hawaii, with
a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations, with emphasis
in Health and Stress Management. Her diverse background
and continuing education influences her to be creative
and versatile in her classes and private sessions.
The synergistic effects of her teaching have the
capability to increase one’s energy, awareness,
focus, balance, flexibility, strength, and stress
reduction techniques. Danyell keeps it fun, yet
challenging, always emphasizing proper breathing,
alignment, form, and real core strength. |
