An
integration of the strength and flexibility of the physical
body which is used to enhance and expand the student's
body consciousness and spiritual awareness. Anusara employs
Universal Principles of Alignment which can enhance any
movement experience.
Flow
Yoga: A lighthearted class combining traditional
postures with Vinyasa transitions. Harmonizes the breath
with a series of asanas (postures) linked together in
a natural, flowing sequence. Classes include basic techniques,
gentle adjustments, core strenghthening and fun.
Hatha
Yoga: A series of postures, or asanas, integrated
with breath work which rejuvenate the entire body, enhance
cardiovascular fitness, and quiet the mind. This creates
optimal health, promoting strength and deep relaxation.
Yoga
Basics: Recommended for students new to yoga
or those who desire a gentle class. This class will
focus on the fundamentals of breathing and yoga postures,
called asanas. You will gain a solid foundation
of alignment in order to develop a safe and beneficial
yoga practice. This class will provide an easy
way to maintain overall well-being, and release tension
and stress.
Gentle
Yoga: A
focus on basic yoga fundamentals including alignment and
the connection between breath, body and mind. Emphasis
is on a light-hearted, safe and intelligent practice while
enhancing strength, balance, flexibility and inner peace.
